Scope
What This Service Is
TheHealifyPet is a technology platform that connects you with independently licensed mental-health professionals. We are not a medical practice, a law firm or a government agency, and nothing on this site is legal or medical advice.
The mental-health professional you are matched with exercises independent professional judgement. We do not direct their clinical decisions and cannot overrule them.
Outcomes
Approval Is Never Guaranteed
Paying for an assessment does not buy a particular result. A mental-health professional may decline, and is compensated for the assessment rather than for approving it.
If a mental-health professional declines, you are told the reason and you are not charged for a letter.

Charged After Issue
Nothing is charged until a mental-health professional has issued your letter.
Current Pricing
$129 for an ESA letter covering up to two animals, $199 for three or more. PSD assessments are $149 and $229.
No Subscription
One fee per letter. We do not enrol you in a recurring plan.
Refunds
If you were charged for a letter that was not issued, contact support and we will refund it.
Limits
What an ESA Letter Does Not Do
It does not grant air travel rights. Since the Department of Transportation rule took effect on 11 January 2021, airlines may treat an emotional support animal as an ordinary pet.
It does not grant public access under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
It does not override a Fair Housing Act exemption, and it does not guarantee that a housing provider will grant your request.
It is not a registration, certificate, license or ID card. None of those exist in US law.

Answer the screening honestly. A letter obtained through misrepresentation is worthless, and several states penalise falsely claiming an animal is an assistance animal.
You remain responsible for your animal’s behaviour and for any damage it causes.
